CleanSierra Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 Your answer is, YES, your box is too small. After port displacement, that's about the right amount of room for one. On Fosgates site, they suggest a higher tune, probably due to the Fs of the sub. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

ALPINE408 Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 7 cubes to small for 2 15's?? when the site i saw recomended cubes is 2.5 per 15??????? Minimum Ported Box Volume 2.66 cubic feet Maximum Ported Box Volume 3.25 cubic feet his out side dims come out to 7.4 so after displacments (i didnt do the math) he should be right in there from 2.6 to 3 cubes each Have you ever had your woofers blown?
CleanSierra Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 Where are you seeing 7 cubes? It's likey to be at 5ish after port. It's 6 before any displacements. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
ALPINE408 Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 17.5 x 17.5 x 42 divied by 1728 = 7.4 sorry i dont use torres so that were 6 come from eh... still by basic math inside dims comes to 6.6 cubes even then unless he has a huge port should be around 5 to 5.5 cubes still with in recomended box specs Have you ever had your woofers blown?
