Halostryker
I've never used Aero ports before because I can never find the right size. Well now I'm trying to build a ht sub box and I would prefer to use an Aero port for the way they look and because it's easier to build. For my build the box is gonna have a gross volume of 1.11 cubic feet tuned to 29 hz. The port will need to be 3 inch by 20 inch. Where can I find a port this length? Thanks guys
audiofanaticz
You can buy the Precision Ports (aeroports) at Parts-Express. They sometimes have decent sales on them too, and come in a few sizes. http://www.parts-express.com/cat/port-tubes/320?sort=pdesc As for how to tune them, the Precision Port company has a calculator on their website where you enter box volume, tuning freq desired, and port size which than tells you needed length. http://www.psp-inc.com/tools.html

RAM_Designs
If you want to make them a custom length, do not buy normal schedule 40 PVC...that stuff is too thick and the couplers won't fit. You need to find some thin-wall PVC like what is used in the normal aeroport kits.
