Captain Stupid Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 I traded in my T1500 amp with a less than stellar birth sheet number and picked up a brand new T2500 with a number that made my jaw drop. 3531 @ 1 ohm!! Is Rockford Fosgate just getting better and better at making these amps powerful or what? I realize that a hundred watts diffence at 3000+ isn't much, but it sure is cool to open a new box and see that big number. Anyone else seen any big numbers? What's the best you've seen? Ever seen a really low number? Are newer RF CP amps getting better numbers than the earlier ones? ....and before someone takes a shot at me, I realize that with my stock electrical, my amp isn't pushing anywhere near its max power... 2006 Cadillac Escalade 2/3 drop on 28" wheels Two RE SX 18" subs RF T2500-1bdCP amp, 3531watts on birthsheet Custom carbon fiber sub box EVERYTHING else is stock, for now 149.4 @ 37hz, Termlab, dash, open window on two AQ3 18s all stock electrical, wired to .25 ohm on a RF T2500 148.8 @ 36hz, Termlab, dash, open window on one AQ3 18 all stock electrical, wired to .5 ohm on a RF T2500 147.8 @ 38hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on two RE SX 18s 146.4 @ 36hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on one RE SX 18 Link to my hack-built, stupid, carbon fiber wasting project.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/149946-carbon-fiber-box-update-1494db-37hz-on-tl/ http://gifsoup.com/NDM3MTc1MQ
Emmet Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 I remembered seeing this one from a thread on here awhile ago. Birthsheets don't really mean all that much though. Done with a non reactive load. i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah.. You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people. I was gifted with an innate ability to distribute wholesale ass beatings in a timely and orderly fashion.

Kyblack76 Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 They dont mean shit..... but, i like them for the production date, and to have them match the numbers on the amps production sticker.... good way to tell if a seller is fucking you.........or if a refurb has been done........The only reason i even care for a b-sheet...... Captain Stupid Posted September 15, 2012 Author Report Posted September 15, 2012 So, for those that believe they don't mean shit, ask yourself this....would it bother you if you paid good money for one and it said 2750 @ 1 ohm? Call me silly, but I wouldn't want THAT amp. And if it was your money and you had two of them sitting in front of you with your choice of which to buy, wouldn't you always take the one with the bigger number? Especially if the numbers were substantially different? From that perspective, it seems like it matters at least a little bit. 2006 Cadillac Escalade 2/3 drop on 28" wheels Two RE SX 18" subs RF T2500-1bdCP amp, 3531watts on birthsheet Custom carbon fiber sub box EVERYTHING else is stock, for now 149.4 @ 37hz, Termlab, dash, open window on two AQ3 18s all stock electrical, wired to .25 ohm on a RF T2500 148.8 @ 36hz, Termlab, dash, open window on one AQ3 18 all stock electrical, wired to .5 ohm on a RF T2500 147.8 @ 38hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on two RE SX 18s 146.4 @ 36hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on one RE SX 18 Link to my hack-built, stupid, carbon fiber wasting project.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/149946-carbon-fiber-box-update-1494db-37hz-on-tl/ http://gifsoup.com/NDM3MTc1MQ
