placement question

I have a silverado extended cab. I have a new set of cadence midbasses and a set of infinity kappa mid ranged. Should the midbasses go up.front and the midranges go in the rear or should.it be the opposite? I have never ran midbasses before. I have always done components in the front and coax in the back

I would leave out the midbass speakers then and just use whatever components you have to cover that range.

*This is my personal opinion and what I would do, it is not a right or wrong way to do it*

Edit: what about some kick panels for the components and put the midbass in the doors? No cutting!

You are smarter than you look. I think i will get the kick panels. What about the rear door? Just some tweeters or something?

Rear speakers I have never worried about. so I can't help ya there. I don't even have mine hooked up.

Ok so just leave them blank and add if i need to add. I have a set of dd supertweeters that would fit perfect in the rear door thoigh

Sounds good, but again that is just how I do it. There are definitely good reasons to put in rear speakers, just not for me.

Well what would.you.do in the rear. I have a set of dd supertweets or a 4" set of focal.coaxs? I cant have an empty hole

well like I said, I don't have my rears hooked up. I left my factory speakers in there and just never plugged them into the new H/U. So that is what I would do.

But if I had to choose between those 2, I would put the coaxs in there.
