Speaker pop

Every time i turn radio on / off i get a popping noise. is there a relay or a different way to stop the popping noise??

maybe something like this item PAC TR-4 Remote Turn On Module. I will be replacing head unit in few weeks so I

will have dash ripped apart to install what I need to elimnate that noise..

Do you have an amplifier hooked up? If so check the RCA's and the ground. Also there are many topics on here about the same topic so try the search bar on the top.

Yea I have the amps in my sig.. They did the same thing in my old car so I'm guessing its the RF amps ..I've had multiple head units on these amps over the yrs and same issue.. I just can't rememebr if i ever put a relay or anything to stop the popping issue .

If youre running mulitple amps its probably you remote turn on wire. You need a switch or relay in between to keep from drawing so hard all at one time

Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins smile.gif

yes i amp running 3 amps. i figured it is the remote . I was thinking a relay will stop the issue. just wanted to make sure if PAC or another company may have something made for it.
