Alright guys my recent set up was old rockford fosgate 12" subs 150 rms each i know its not alot i got them for free lol. 1200 watt sony amp powering them with gain bass boost turned all the way up they never blew suprisingly. Anyways i have a box for a 15 at 32 hz and i was wondering what your opinon was on a power acoustik mofo 15 with a 3000 watt power acoustik demon amp will i be alot louder then before?

well what you guys think about the sub then? guess i check out some other amps. think the sub is a big ugrade from what i had?

I ran 2 Mofo 15's off a pa bamf5500 amp. I never had any problems with the amp but it doesn't put out rated. Its rated 3200@1ohm, which is what I was running it at. Iirc it only had 180 amps if fusing.

Had multiple problems with the subs, tho. They're rated 1700rms, but wont even take half that for very long. They got loud, but wasn't clean at all.

My. 02, stay away from power acoustik.
