No I have my 2 on about 800rms.. Actually I would like that new v.3 amp idk if they would lol!!

I'm not surprised their taking it, what amp do you have and electrical to back it?

How is yours doing on tracks that play about 26-30hz?

I'll probably never considerably overpower a sub, even if I know it could take it. Unless maybe if I ever get the worlds highest power handling sub and there's no more options to get louder than to overpower them. Until then, I'll use a high quality amp with high quality subs with matching RMS ratings.
