Team_DC-Derrick Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 you can, but you can just use a bass knob for the bass... unless your amp doesnt have it. you can also tap into the existing remote wire for the 2nd amp, hell im about to have 3 amps wired off the same remote wire LOL The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... You can still use the relay, just put the switch on the output of the relay. A couple amplifiers should be fine. Do you have a DMM that can measure DC current? If so, you could measure the draw on the remote wire from both amps. A relay is a cheap safeguard. You don't want to risk burning out the remote output on the HU. conceptM Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Aren't you going to be driving your main speakers with a high pass? If so you will have a very lean sounding system with the sub off. Not always at full throttle is a lot different from all the way off.
