Got a 2001 Bravada and I cant shake the rattle gremlin!! First the hatch itself rattled to high noon. Deadened that real good but now the glass itself is rattling just as loud as the metal! Is there a way I could fix this? I still need to see out so no, I cant duct tape it! Lol.. Please help a fellow bass head out!

This is some imaginative thinking... cause I'm tired, I'm bored, and it's 420... (4:20 am in the morning) haha. But... here's what I think, and no sarcasm. You'll have to take out the window and put some sort of something along the edges such as some closed cell foam then put it back in. I mean without knowing what's causing it to rattle (obviously the bass, but is it just the air pressure from the subs or is the hatch making it rattle since the hatch can't, or something else), that's my best guess.

I had a tail light that broke from the trunk lid rattling. So thanks to Jon from SS (as it was his idea), I got some foam and put it around where the tail light was held so the foam got the vibration and not the tail light or some sort of mechanics like that. Haven't had a problem with it so far, but I also did deaden most of my lid as well, so that helped too obviously.

Again, don't judge me. I know it's a... far fetched idea, but I am tired and bored.

this is a problem for all bassheads with hatch style glass...

this is alot of work but you could thread some thin silicone or rubber tubing inside the seal itself. make a small slice in one area spray a shitton of soapy water wd40 or

something like that to help it slide thru.

Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer

Yeah its just the air pressure beating the hell outta the glass. Subs up port back! I could definately try the foam edge first then try some other things. Its a pain in the ass im sure but the rattling is driving me CRAZY!!! I Jus keep the volume down which sucks! But im open to other ideas if you guys got any! ! Thanks a bunch!

I know what you mean... not with the glass rattling but my rear shelf rattles like a mofo. Either have to have it down quiet or crank that crap til the bass is louder than it can rattle haha. Fortunately, I know how to fix it. Unfortunately, it'd take probably 4-5 hours to fix and a healthy me.

Ok guys, update. Glass still rattles like hell. I cant get the glass part of the hatch to open due to the latch being rusted as hell!! So its rusted shut and I Did not notice it before except for some light sticking but now its just frozen shut from rust. Its crazy cuz its the ONLY rust on the truck!.. Any suggestions?

I just purchased some of this http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/100047977/c291?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051&N=5yc1vZc291&R=100047977#.UQQ8KqVU7ao placed it on the weather stripping that was already back there & it worked for mine & I have 3 sp4 18's ran off of 2 Crescendo 5500's, subs up port back about 6" from the hatch.

Ok sounds good, but I CANT get the glass part of the hatch to open. And I would hate to have to buy a whole new hatch!. The latch is rusted and its keeping the window from opening. Where would I put this stripping at?

Without getting the glass open im not sure how you can do it, maybe try some of this http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202597469/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=pb+blaster&storeId=10051#.UQZOn6VU7ao on the latch & see if that helps. I put the stripping right on top of the stripping thats already on there.
