Box rec. for a single 12

Wassup fellas? I'm looking to build a box for a single kicker L7 12 that I have sitting around. I'll be using a JL audio 500/1 to push it. I know that's not much but I also only have stock elec. I have a second 500/1 if necessary, but i think it will strain the stock elec. so that was my reason for only using one of the 500/1's.

I will be putting it into a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. The space I have available or where I put it,have the measurements of:

30"-33" width......18" max height....and 13" max depth....

I've looked up a few boxes on diff. Websites online and some people say use kicker specs. And others say not to. I just want something efficient with the power I will be using and I listen to all types of music. Not looking to compete but would be nice to get loud as possible with what I have. And again I'm only using what I have laying around and decided to do a small build with it so any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated!! Thx fellas! For my h/u I have alpine 9885,doors:morel comps.(front),fosgate 6x9's(rear) all powered by a JL 300/4.

if you put a DD-1 in your amp terminal and it immediately went up in smoke, i would be concerned.

If you shoved your dick in the terminal and it didn't blow up but a month later it blew up, i STILL WOULDN'T be able to blame your dick.

It just does not make sense at all.

External Enclosure Parts:

Front & Back = 33 x 18

Left & Right Sides = 11 1/2 x 16 1/2

Top & Bottom = 33 x 11 1/2

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:
