i would b willing to bet that if wepassed out some flyers to our local stereoshops and announced comps more and threw in some hot girls doing raffles or a car wash or just standing around lol that we would have better turnout no matter the price

Entry fee are based on what competitors wanted to get as a reward at the end of the show. Higher entry fees provides a better trophy's, plaques, medals, etc, etc, etc.....this are the things all of us competitors needs to put into considerations and not just keep complaining. Like they always say, you play you pay....simple as that!

LC West Coast Finale show entry fee was a bit pricey but you'll get your money's worth at the end. An 8 footer trophy's, cash box, food, entertainment, raffle drawings, etc, etc, etc.....not to forget LC has to pay Wayne's fees also since it was a sanction show to begin with.

All this things needs to be 'BALANCED' in a sense that whoever will run the show will not be spending his own money just to provide and pleased the competitors.....otherwise, the hell with the shows if I'm one of the judges.

Proper and a timely manner of posting up schedules of upcoming shows will be a big factor as well. People made plans like almost everyday, either to spend time with there families or going out of town.....early dates provided to competitors and early postings on-line to different forums will definitely helps.

A small example for the Central Cal guys. If you remember the first show put on by Team Flex Issues, that show went till like 7 or so and that was only cuz the judges decided that was enough. That show had a lot of competitors, both new and old, because we took flyers EVERYWHERE. Shops, school, work, shows, car meets, mobile audio sections in store, the computers at electronic stores, etc. nothing was off limits.

TEAM FLEX ISSUES

Car: 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal

Yes. This is why something like Autorama 2013 should be posted already. We have been through this...let's see. 9 years in a row and nobody is listening.

You can promise the competitors it will happen, but we have been let down before ( Lake Perris locked in for 5/10 Years). Only to have it pulled away as soon as somebody got their money....

sigh..........

Oh ya,the money.Everything change's once that's involved, lol.Well, since I've been doing MECA,that show in Bakersfield,in my opnion, has been the best to date.Great turn-out,food,raffle's,and all around good time. But,it's like I said earlier, promote, promote, and promote some more. It's really up to whoever is putting on the show and everyone involved with the show to do that.We do our part as competitor's,and if they do there's,then you should have a good show.
