Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

Honestly, on a budget, sounds like you should go with Sundown E12s, I have them, They fucking slam.

Hell ok october sale 15 sundown E $100

Then for sale section right now rockford p300 $55

Enclosure built by yourself 50$

Wiring $30

You have bass! That has potential to be LOUD.

Then hey you want louder ok save alittle then resell amp upgrade and get another 15.

98' dodge ram

I have no problem saving up for the sa-12s I really don't have the money for anything so I would rather say up for something good rather then having to upgrade it later

As for the amp I would look into the 1200w-1500w range. There is a lot out there. Hell I would stick with sundown at that point. But im also a big fan of the Rockford T-1500bd-cp

That line of amps produce just about the same power at 2ohms as they do at 1ohm. So they are very efficient.

Yes the Rockford amp does 1500 at 1ohm and at 2ohm's. It actually produces close to 2000w they are underrated. Now that I think of it the T-1500 Rockford may be a little much for you cause at that point you would probably need to start to up grade your electrical system. The T-1000 would be a better fit. It probably does close to 1500w.

Here is a link that will help you understan why the Rockford amps are under rated. The amps come with a birth sheet that shows what the amp is actually producing when they tested it.

yeah, was just pointing out the price of thw w6's. they're seem to be out of your budget right now anyways, no offence.

and my friend actually has a 2 12" Sundown SA set up with a RF t1500-bd(older model)

and that slams so hard for the amount of money you put into it.

but you could even just get a 1000watt amp and feed those SA's nicely.

now that's not to say thats the most power u can put to them, since they take 1.5x the rated rms.

but they're efficient on low power as well.

and 35hz is a bit high for SA, i would definitely tune to 32Hz and let those lows rip :BART:

id suggest an Alpine MRX-M110, the RF t1500bd-cp(if u can afford), the jl audio 1000.1(at ur local shop if u can get a deal).

some brands to avoid: audiopipe, powerbass, planet audio, hifonics(this will probably be the best lower class amp u can get though)

Keith77 ok cool thanks I had have a 2000 watt spl gorilla amp rite now n nvr had a problem wit it other then the bass nob doesn't work? Out of the 1000 watt and 1500 watt amp which would b best for thoses sundown 12s if i have to ubgrade my electrial i could later Tim my local stereo shop I can pay monthly for the subs till I pay it off so it's by rky out of my budget I just don't have the money to pay for it all at once but I thinkin I'm gunna save up for the sundown 12s neways
