BigRydizzel Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 So...has anyone herd if those new Cadence amps are any good? The ZRS models. I culturally am running a FI BTL 18 fully loaded wired at one ohm to a Rockford Forsgate t1500bd. Now this amp puts out some good power for how small it is. But I feel like the FI could use some more juice. Now I have 2 optima yellow top batteries and the big 3 hooked up. So I'm equipped for running high power. I found a chance to get a Cadence zrs C1 amp for pretty cheap if I sell the RF. Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks
fecupe2001 Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 i had the zrs C6 and, it was a GREAT amp, not the strongest one since the power it´s rated at 16v , but i still could get like 4500 watts at 14v , sounds amazing on music also, about the C1, i´ve tested a couple of them and they are very nice also, i played with one at 0.5 ohms and stayed cool as hell... HHR Ed Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Not exactly new as they have been around a couple years now. But they are solid amps will do the power they say. BigRydizzel Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 Great guys thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it. I will upload a vid once I get it installed.
BigRydizzel Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 Do you guys think it would make my BTL play to its full potential? Because believe it or not the Rockford fosgate t1500.1bd pushes it pretty dam good at 1ohm. IMO but I know it can take more. What is the max you can but to a BTL anyhow? But that Cadence putting out 2200 rms maybe more, sounds like the route I wanna take.
