(4) Zv3 12s - 5k - Project Nasty No wall

Recommended Posts

Did a little testing. Pretty damn cold. In the 20's air temp.

Did a 151 Legal. Doing nothing to the truck/orientation. Just folded seats and went. Not bad, but not really happy since i lost about .8db in terms of efficiency from my old box/SA's. Makes sense, but I'm still going to try to get that back.lol. Clamp results are as follows

Wired .5 Nominal (one amp)

-62.5 ACV

-42 ACA

-2625w @ 1.48ohm

-Starting voltage = 14.4V

-Lowest Drop ~13.8V

Nice numbers man. Are those just reg. off the shelf Zv3's or did you have anything changed in them?

I bought these with 2 NSv2 Spiders instead of the stock Zv3 pack and the NSv2 cone/surrounds. I have no idea if these are even helping

Cool box! It's set up the same way my new box is set up. I'm using 2 Fi Q15s and a 10in. aero port. Qs are not spl subs so I don't expect big numbers.

You're lucky you have so much room for battery and amps. I have to ditch my spare and hide everything under a false floor. It's a tight fit.

Keep it up! Post more vids!

I really dont have much room. That box is barely 6 cubes after displacements. And the distance i have to the hatch is where it's been loudest in the past. But non the less it seems to work. Thanks for checking it out. More vids when I get that other amp in there

How far is it from the hatch, if you don't mind me asking? Mine is going to be 7-8inches away. My box is 7.1 after displacements.

its about that. not all vehices behave the same in this regard. I just tested and that spot was best. I'll have to retest or at least reconfirm that spot now that I've changed port layout
