07gsxrr Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 I have a 95 chevy 1500 single cab short bed. I just pulled my blowthrough system out, it was six DC audio lvl 3 15s in a 4th order bandpass on a DC audio 5k. I am very indecisive when it comes to things. Just wanted some ideas if i should do walkthrough or blow. Thankss
tacomaguy1 Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 Well do you want to cut the whole back or your truck out? If not keep blowthrough Team Flex Issues
07gsxrr Posted October 15, 2012 Author Report Posted October 15, 2012 I dont have a problem with cutting anything. Just wanted some ideas, like people saying you should do a walkthrough with four IA 21s walled or it would be better to do a blowthrough because of this reason.
tacomaguy1 Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 Goodluck fitting 4 21s in a blowthrough Team Flex Issues
07gsxrr Posted October 15, 2012 Author Report Posted October 15, 2012 Not four 21s for a blowthrough, i meant for the walkthrough. Just wanted people to shoot some ideas my way.
revoracing247 Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 just to clear things up for me. a walk through is basically cutting the whole back of the cab and making it and the bed into a walled enclosure? ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~
STEvil Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 could do 21's in a blowthrough, just gotta mount the subs on angle is all. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
