I have said numerous times already, I cannot load from a CD/DVD or else I would never have made this topic lol. The disk is bootable, I have created atleast 4, and making a 5th now. In the information file inside the folder of the windows 7 install, it states it is bootable. I have created a ISO in the past of this exact folder set, and it worked, as well as I have used a install disk created by someone else, using the same folder set. I will try though to see if it is bootable in another computer, but I am sure it is. n8ball2013 Posted October 16, 2012 Report Share Posted October 16, 2012 ok you can sit there and argue til youre blue in the face or you can try it on a different machine and verify it. you either have a non bootable disc or you have an issue wtih your optical drive not being recognized. you can take one out of the equation real fast. Tried it on my mother's laptop, I don't know why it is doing this though, because like I said. The files I used to create this ISO, have been used in the past to do the same thing, and never had this issue. It only does that on my moms laptop, if I double click the disc drive on this desktop, it opens setup.exe Edit: Tried booting on the desktop off the CD, again, just loads the main OS instead of the installer. If you don't have an official disk you can download legal, legit copies of Win7 disks from Digital River. They are NOT activated. When you purchase Windows 7 from the Microsoft Store you're paying for the license key, not the download.
