Bigsix
Just another one of my projects. I think I stuck a pic or two in someone elses thread a while back. I finally got around to taking some pics of this piece with the nice camera. Its nothing to radical, this is one of my personal pieces. Has a full 360 stipple, light/medium texture. The trigger guard has been undercut, one of the finger grooves removed, the other reshaped and the back strap has been slightly flatend near the bottom to reduce the "Glock hump". Has a full trigger job, all bits are polished, so is feed ramp. Has a Ghost 4.5lb connector in it as well. Pistol has a great feel when your doin work with it. Everyone that has gotten some time with it has fallen in love with it. The stippling is ultra grabby, without being harsh or aggressive. With Sweaty, muddy, water soaked, dry hands... it just plain stays planted, you never has to adjust your grip. Runs like a top, with a noticeably lighter than stock trigger that is smooth and has a nice reset. Overall Im happy with it. A nice accurate, high cap ass kicker with the only mods that I feel are necessary or increase function on a Glock. If anyone is interested in having something similar done, my shop does offer shipping/FFL services as well. This pistol is also currently for sale, time for another project I think. 1999 Lincoln Town Car-(build underway) - (2) SA15s, 4th order, DAT 2500.1, O2 mids n highs, 250a alt, HC 2400, Big 3.... 1994 Pontiac T/A for speeding tickets.- - Currently on jack stands, wanting to be a real race car "Your local forecast, all the ladies in the metro area should expect to see 8 inches tonight" - The Todd Decaf, on 01 November 2011 - 02:38 PM, said: i provide the ammo for destruction, the trigger finger is connected to the volume knob tho URBAN GORILLA AUDIO

flwatersaver
To each his own. I think you lowered the value of the gun. I would have used a Talon grip myself. Bigsix
To each his own. I think you lowered the value of the gun. I would have used a Talon grip myself. Ya..those cheap skateboard grip tape panels that come off if youre a serious shooter or get 'em wet. Those are an ok option at best. If you have never handled/ shot a Glock that I have worked on, you wont see the "value" of these mods. I'm a serious shooter and also rely on a weapon to save my ass on occasion. As for devaluing it? I also build "pretty" guns that sell for wayyyyy over their stock form prices, but this particular piece and mods are for a serious shooter, this is a tool, built to be ran hard in extreme conditions or competition use ( think 3 gun etc.), or someone in a line of work that uses/ abuses their pieces ( hell just daily carry and lots of use devalues a gun) , not a safe queen that comes out to go to the range a few times a year. And again in regard to devaluing it, I dunno, tell that to the people lining up to have my work done. I get pieces shipped in from all over. I am developing a back log of work, I can do full on grip reductions, stippling, you name it. And some of my work has sold used for more than a NEW, stock Glock. Betcha a buck if you like Glocks and got to spend some time with this girl, you'd be asking "how much" just like everyone else that has shot it. Get your hands soakin wet sweaty or bloody, and see which Glock would offer a more secure grip, allowing continued accurate shot placement if the shit hits the fan. but, it's cool, like you said to each there own. No one is forcing you to like it, buy it, use it. But I have plenty of people that will say otherwise.
