bighossf150
Looks good, I bought my wife a white 2012 6 speed style package veloster a couple months ago and she loves it. I'm about to throw my old tc sounds epic 8 in it so I have a quick question, where did you tap into for the LOC, Im thinking taping into the factory sub would be the best way to go. I love the way this car looks. Wish they would give it some balls under the hood, though. You can build a box in an apartment, just takes a lot of vacuuming and dusting afterward LOL. I've built a ton of boxes on my little-ass patio and in the living room. DO IT!! They actually arent bad for having like 138hp, they only weight like 2800-2900lbs Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s

I flat out love this car and most people that own them seem to like them. I spend a little time over on the Veloster forums so I hear the good and the bad but it's mostly good. For the LOC, I tapped into the stock amp that is under the passenger seat. If you'd like, I can send you a picture of the wiring diagram I found that will make your life a whole lot easier. Slinky
Alternator installed! It wasn't too bad though that stock alt did not want to come off. It's wedged on there pretty good. Old alt removed Where the new alt will sit New alt installed. Check out that belt wrap! I'm scrolling down, nice setup, then I see the pic of the alternator, then components, and this thing looks like its getting a little kick into overdrive! Tuned in for some vids as well!! 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock.
Slinky
Love the car man. I'm scrolling down, nice setup, then I see the pic of the alternator, then components, and this thing looks like its getting a little kick into overdrive! Tuned in for some vids as well!! Thanks man. I spent all day today installing the components and that 4 channel Rockford amp. I was having depth issues with the midrange not clearing the window so I ended up dismantling the factory speakers to be able to use that bracket you see. It sounds pretty badass, though theres still a lot of tweaking to do. I'll post some more pictures sometime this week and I definitely gotta get some vids too. Also, for anyone else out there with a veloster wanting to do this, be prepared. This is definitely the trickiest install I've ever had to do. With the way the factory head unit is wired in with the factory amp, it makes for a huge pain in the ass when trying to get the right signal inputs for your aftermarket amps. The factory head unit literally uses a spdif connection to the factory amp and has no pre-outs. If anyone is looking to do this though and would like tips, feel free to let me know and I'd be glad to help out. Slinky
Just realized I never posted the pictures of my amps. Yes, I realize that there is absolutely 0 color coordination here, but honestly I don't give a shit. It's all knuconceptz wire except for a couple of rockford rca's and that's where it really matters to me.
