Amart88 Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 Well, It's been a while, I was having a problem where one of my 2 BTl 15's was not moving. I have 2 Crescendo 3500's, one to each woofer. I noticed that one woofer was barely moving. I tested the Impendence multiple times of each coil and they were fine. i gain matched and set the amps with a dd-1. So after some more tests I sent the amp into crescendo to have a look at it. They said it was working 100% which puzzled me. I got it back yeaterday and the woofer is still not moving and the amp is on and drawing power. I can't figure out what this could be. They are both switched to output master, all filters are the same, both phases are at zero and I pop tested the woofer before hooking it up. I'm ready to give up. Any thoughts are appreciated. The woofer only seems to move from the other woofers pressure. Almost like the amp is holding the thing solid. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.

1stgen Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 good amp , and sub reading good, bad connection in speaker wires somewhere?
Amart88 Posted October 21, 2012 Author Report Posted October 21, 2012 good amp , and sub reading good, bad connection in speaker wires somewhere? I don;t believe so as if I swap amps, the other woofer will not move and vise versa . I just read that a fuse can blow but not break and not let enough power through? maybe ill get a new in line fuse and see. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
