Im running a ho alternator, big 3 done, stock batt up front with 3 c & d 100ah batts in the back. ap30001d amp running my 18 inch pap wmd2k sub in the back. Along with 3 other amps for mids and highs. I went on a trip yesterday to cedar point. aprox. 300 mile round trip with family. was playing system on a very low volume for the whole trip, made it there and i was almost home and i heard like a light popping noise from my sub and it went dead, a few minutes later ihad this smell that was coming from the amp, so i shut the system down, for sure once i got home i inspected everything all lights are coming on but no sound from sub amp, obvious its blown (sucks) so that has to be repaired. My question is all my batts are linked together with out any type of isolator.
