scooter99
How does brushing on the weld wood compare to spraying it on? I was taught to use a cheap spray gun. It sprays a lot differently then it does brushed on. Do you think one is better? ^ yes this please Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
CarAudioFab
How does brushing on the weld wood compare to spraying it on? I was taught to use a cheap spray gun. It sprays a lot differently then it does brushed on. Do you think one is better? With brushing you have to be careful it doesn't "pool" in low spots of the curves. If it does it will dry unevenly the spray definitely does a better job at avoiding that, but otherwise pretty comparable. I could have sprayed it, but a lot of my goal with my videos is to prove that amazing results can be obtained with time and craftsmanship over expensive tools. I've gotten some hate online in terms of, "oh well you could have done that faster if you did "x" you clearly don't know what your doing" to which I again reply : Im not trying to show someone at a shop that has access to all the goodies how to do things, Im trying to show the "do it yourselfer" how to do things. Im trying to expand our hobby. LOVE the video's. I feel privileged that you post those here. Thanks for sharing!! I got my note pad out, im never to old to learn new tips and tricks No problem man, people talk smack about you online and complain about you and it just makes me laugh because they don't know the real you. Anyone who is as popular as yourself but still humble enough to admit that they can still learn new tricks and tips shows that they clearly have traits of being a great person and a great leader. I feel privileged that you provide a forum that we can all share with each other in! P.S. I need to talk to you about getting a DD-1. pretty cool build log with the videos and all. Thanks man! Working on a big post here, stay tuned, Ill post something in this thread when it comes up. man these videos are awesome definitely helping me out thanks man!! keep up the vids Will do, glad you like. -Mark Host of "CarAudioFabrication" - YouTube Car Audio Tutorial Channel Check out my forum section here on SMD for my builds and tutorial videos! OrangeJuiced
Awesome. I'm so use to having an air compressor I just recommend spraying it, but like you said, not everyone has access to one. Good point. I always look forward to your videos. 2001 GMC Sierra Build.
