OK... so I have a pair of SA-10s that I bought from the original pre-order (2010 I believe) Still in the box, never seen power or daylight. Only opened to gawk at them and show to a couple of friends. The build I bought them for fell through and the vehicle has since been sold. They have been kept in a garage - so temperatures were not at air condition level, but not extremes such as being in a trunk either. So my question is: how long will the materials last before they start to deteriorate and need to be reconed? Mainly the rubber in the surrounds is my concern. Thanks!

Man I'm glad I didn't lock this I get to witness two retards holding hands telling each other that it'll be ok because they are awesome.

The spiders have gone bad on some of my old subs before the surround.

But the subs were between 18-22 years old, Orion XTRs. They had foam surround

and paper cone. If you don't over power or clip the hell out of a sub it will last a long

time. I'm giving you my personal exp, with subs I'm not an expert like Jacob.

I'm I regular bass head from the early 90s.
