roscoe1129 Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 4 channel for the mids and highs, 2 channel or mono block for the midbass, your gonna need a processor to bandpass the midbass though for true "midbass" frequencies. Use a 4 channel for the components, Then get a 4 channel for the midbass or however many your going to use, and get a processor like roscoe said. How many mids are you getting? kbreudi Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 I have a similar set up. Kicker 5 1/4 components for the mid range and tweeters, and kicker 6.5 for mid bass. The compoenets are hi passed at 150 hz, the midrange is hi passed at a pre amp kicker 3 way acvtive crossover at 80 hz, then low passes on the amp at 500 hz, that way they play from 80 to 500, creating the band bass filter.
