And more is on the way Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. kingsuv Posted June 20, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 Man, if this build hasn't had some twists and turns. Not sure if I should dump this log all together or just keep at it. I figured I would at least post up a few changes even though it isn't to exciting for most of ya anyway. The box for the 4 18's is still collecting dust. Not sure when or IF it will ever be finished. Kinda lost interested in it after the past few years. What i do have is some new mids and highs amps for the front stage. For those who don't know the name Butler Audio, look it up. I have had my eye on these for quite awhile and finally was able to make a few deals to pick up what I wanted. I am running a TDB 575to the 6's and tweeters and a TDB 2150 to a pair of DC's I started out by removing the 2x1 metal spacers and adding 2x2 so I have enough clearance between the amps and seat frame. It leaves me a 1/4" spacer to the frame, and about 5" of open space in the seat part for air space. This truck has seen it's fair share of "testing" new products over the years. More then a few times I have used whatever worked to get the job done. Today is finally the start to the last time I make changes. No techflex or shrink on this one. Just didn't feel like spending 2x as long to get them in. They sure are sexi lit up. Still need to clean up a few wires. add spade ends to the speaker wires and shorten a few, make a couple longer, But she plays. Couple other items to address and the set can go back in.
