DannyA.K.ABasshead Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 I am in the process of purchasing 2 Obsidian Audio 15s and Im having trouble on deciding on an amp to push a 15 and I do not want to go larger then 4 Gauge for the power and ground wire. So if you have any great reccomendation on amplifiers and I dont plan on spending a fortune on the amplifiers. Thanks

BobbyG2 Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 I have two Obsidian 15's, they laugh at my SAE1200D, and it's more like an underrated 1500 watt amp. I had them in 7.5cubes, too. Before I built the box for the two, I had one of them in my roommates 7.5cu.ft. home theater box. It was wired to 2 ohms (Manufacturer rates it at 600WRMS at 2Ohms), and even though it looked to be reaching XMAX, it didn't complain at all. *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
