As far as a new amp goes how much are you willing to spend? Soundstream PCA-1000D Nice amp, 1000 RMS @ 1 ohm. $265 shipped. Also, the BXi line is overrated but you could go with this one.. Hifonics BXi 1606D Does about 1200-1300 RMS @ 1 ohm. $220 shipped.
