ibf150
Thanks to the power of the packing peanut and it's ability to give us a clear understanding of the space we are working with instead of our rough calculations we have gone ported! Thanks to WinsISD we came to a 10.75" vent would tune it to 35hz I gotta say Vinny is the man what a good builder he is and I'm really glad I have the opportunity to learn from him. ibf150
Console looks good. If you want to go ported, you can always step it up and go up onto the back seat. I build one for 4 10s a few years ago like that. Worked out great! Glad I had the room to go ported, CJ18 after reading your thread up and down and looking at your original door panel build I feel comfortable cutting into the panels now. I'll be cutting them this weekend just like you did yours. I think using the separate rings will allow me to give it a little more shape than your original set up. Plan is to angle the front two 6.5s towards the headrest on the opposite side of the truck and the other two facing flat so they'll clear the seat. CleanSierra
I don't know why I never commented before, but I'm sorry I didn't! It's nice to see some more Ford guys on the forum. I'm not one of them, but it's nice to see more badass, clean Ford truck builds. I'm glad you have taken do much time to plan out and build your setup so it works and looks wonderful. I ran those same subs in 12s and I must say, they REALLY woke up when I went ported over when they were sealed. I don't see you commenting to say anything about hearing the difference. I don't know if you've heard the new ported setup yet, but it'll be a night and day difference and you'll be impressed. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
