Neckbeard
you will gain more cone area with the 12's an they are ratted @1400rms each so total of 2800rms. personally i would feed them all of the 3.5k with no problem. but some people dont like or dont want to over power the subs. but the lvl5 15 is rated @3500rms I also thought they were rated at 3500 but their not http://dcsoundlab.com/level5.html Was looking at the 12 not the 15 fail Yes they are rated at 3500, but to be nice to the amp, you dont want it to be pumping out max watts all the time if that makes sense Quote Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/

Noel989
Nah if you want to be nice to the amp you feed it enough power or else it would starve And as long as you set your gains and xovers properly there shouldn't be a problem Quote Build Log - http://www.stevemead...-cruiser-el-pt/
Neckbeard
ya, but as i said before, the odds of fitting a 15 in the bed is slim to none Quote Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/

zydrix
well check your measurements. account for the width of the wood u have to use. an see if its possible. you might have to mod something to get it to fit. i did a little bit of modding of my car, nothing big, an it didnt really hurt the car. an my 15 fit in it. Neckbeard
If a 15 would fit, i might go with that, and sometime in the future, could do another amp sub Quote Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/
CJ18
I am very east to get ahold of if you have questions or need pricing. First of let me start by saying that the link to yahoo that you posted that has prices, those are not correct. That price list is from 2 years ago. Based on a 3.5k as your amplifier, you have many options that will fit in your budget. I will post your options here and I will send you a PM with the price. 3 Level 2 10s or 12s 2 Level 3 10, 12, or 15s 1 XL 10,12,15, or 18 These are the options that fit your budget on the 3.5k. Sending you a PM now.
