possum2023 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Ok guys I have a 130 amp alternator with stock battery and big 3 in 1/0 with 300 amp fuse, 1/0 with 300 amp fuse ran to back battery (stinger spv70) 1/0 from that to a powerbass 4000d and now will be adding a Rockford fosgate 1000.4 it takes 4ga wire. Should I run that from the back battery or the front battery? Powerbass amp can pull 300 amps and Rockford can pull 150 at full tilt. Yes I know I will need more batteries soon.

P.S. power would be supplied from both batteries no matter which the amps were connected to. P.S.S. that's a lot of power for such a small electrical. possum2023 Posted November 14, 2012 Author Report Posted November 14, 2012 I wasn't sure if that would over power the fuse or not. I won't have the ohm load that low as of now. I know, I'll be getting a few more batteries and more wire after Christmas. I need to find an alternator too, I emailed a few companies cuz I couldn't find one but never got a response.
