cuetip Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 ok well whenever i rev my car up and let off it gets a really low idle then dies, and i have to start it up and idles somewhat fine until i press the brake then it gets another rough idle, i cant even be in traffic because all the stop and go that goes on due to it dying any thoughts guys?

cuetip Posted November 15, 2012 Author Report Posted November 15, 2012 i cleaned the TPS as soon as i got the car, and had a buddy run the codes, and there was nothing that jumped out at him besides the mis firing

cjvue Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 Hmm... If it drives fine and just wont stay on at idle, either it's not ready airflow would be my guess. With that said, i would troubleshoot all the sensor to make sure nothing is loose of malfunction. Check your vacuum line as well.
