One Way Posted November 18, 2012 Report Share Posted November 18, 2012 Personally, I like the looks of the motor showing off, large magnet covers most of the time, makes the sub look cheap in my opinion. So do I, that's why I would like to take mine off but I've looked at pics with the cover off and it was meh. Probably cuz it had all the glue and dirt on it but its whatever I guess. One Way Posted November 18, 2012 Report Share Posted November 18, 2012 i did a quick search and found this video that might help. now, i have no idea why RE would cover the bottom vent hole with the cover. seems stupid to me. but there you go, doesnt seem as difficult and he was able to take it off all in one piece. the one i saw was different, he had to break it all off and there was no vent hole at the bottom..... hhmmmm.
