Dracanse1178 Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_42953_Lanzar-OPTI1233D.html It looks like a bada** sub if you ask me and thats the only "name brand" sub ive seen with direct run off leads. and it weighs almost 50 pounds ... so any one see one of these? http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189087-is-fiberglassing-inside-the-box-worth-it-for-strength/?p=2821887
REVOofRustler Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 I've never had any experience with Lanzer, but a 3000 watt RMS sub for $220 seems very cheap. It also seems kinda strange to me that the Fs is 52 hertz. Most twelves end up with an Fs in the low 30's. Audioque also puts direct leads on some of their subs. I believe you can also get DC to put direct leads on your subs. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz

REVOofRustler Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 I also just noticed that the specs say it has a frequency response of 50-300hz. I'd probably stay away from this one if I were you... 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz
