ds1919 Posted December 20, 2012 Report Share Posted December 20, 2012 yeah I would recommend getting a 4ohm driver, and I dont think you will notice a diff, being that you cant even compare with the old drivers lol. I used to do that when I was younger, not knowing that different impedance drivers would change the xover point. I never noticed it. For high end audio, yeah its worth retuning the xover, but in your case, it sounds like you'd be totally fine with a 4ohm driver.
