I just got everything hooked up and running right but at full volume when I was driving today my gauges all stopped working an my "check gauges" light came on. Could I just need a new serpentine belt bc whenever I muted my radio my belt was squealing like a stuck pig, shut off my jeep and restarted it just fine with no issues Any clue why it'd do this? 150.1 @ 38hz142.3 @ 20hz (windows down)Only 2 batteries

The only thing with that is I know for sure it's tight, I just put it on. But the belt doesn't SEEM too bad but if that may help I'll definitely do that. BassHead88 Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 bad grounds ? when i had my legacy , i grounded my alt to my batt and it threw off all the electronics in my car so i moved the ground from the alt to somewhere else, every car is different keep that in mind. Yeah still a 130k mile old tensioner but its a manual tensioner so I'll have to check it tomorrow Maybe I'll have to go over the grounds tomorrow too since its gonna be nice.
