4 12" type r's hair trick

Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and have some questions I have 4 12" 12d2 type r's and 2 t10001bd amps have all 0/1 gauge ran big 3 done ect and planned on planned on running two sub in parallel to one amp Is this the best way to wire them and what kinda box should I build for best spl and what would i tune it to I am wanting to do a hair trick if possible with my set up any input would be appreciated and box design pics would be very helpful by the Way I have a 1996 4dr blazer

Depending on how old/new the Rockford amps are they probably won't like half ohm each.

No it would be wired down to 1ohm each sorry for any confusion both 2ohm subs wired in parallel would make 1 ohm correct?

Nope 2 D2's in parallel will go down to .5 ohm. All 4 will wire at one ohm but if you strap the amps they are still each gonna see half. So I'd try selling your t1000s and buying a sundown 3500, AQ 3500, dc 3.5k, or even a RF2500 bdcp, etc probably missin other good brands too

2 d2 ohm subs in parallel/parallel is .5 ohm

And I'm not sure if you can do hair trick and keep the back seats. But hey anything is possible
