Id just build the sealed box and try it out. you're going to spend a shit ton of time anyways so whats an hour extra. If it doesnt work youre not out a ton of money or anything. Properly powered and tuned sub woofers (with a well built and mounted enclosure) perfectly matched to well set up midbass drivers is the key to the whole concept ... He should have no problems with this with the type of car he's driving ... ALPINE408 Posted November 29, 2012 Report Share Posted November 29, 2012 The floor bord idea will work even with the high fs if iits sq you will be playing low volumes and will still play the freq range you want just not loud something you don't want in sq anyways the fs will really only fuck u when and if you try to get real output out of the best sq cars I have heard the subs blend so well you don't even know or think there are subs in the car The other way is like cable guy was saying sub in the back with the sub and mids tunned together perfectly not an easy thing to do be ready to spend hours tunning to get what you want Have you ever had your woofers blown?
