Jcoleman134 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Ok well i noticed the other day that when i hit the rear defroster button it just blinks and doesn't come on. Anyone know what the problem might be? The rear window has the lines in it to heat it up. Quote
mojoman Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 what kinda car? did ya check your wires going onto the rear defrost tabs on the backglass? that is where you should start. then if they are still attached, take an ohm meter and see if there is continuity between the 2 sides. let us know Quote

In most cars the rear defroster has its own fuse. But you said that the button lit up. So it probably means that the stripes have a short in them.
