Arod45 Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 I have 2 DD 2515s hooked up to a DD M2b. Recently with the cold weather my amp won't turn on and the only way to turn it on is to turn my truck off and then on again. Any idea what could be the problem? Any suggestion would help!
Tim Lam Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 check to make sure all grounds are TIGHT! check positive wires while you're at it. make sure the Remote cable hasn't come loose. are any other components affected? such as speakers, other amps, the head unit?
ric006 Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 your reciever might be the issue not giving any voltage out to the amp untill you power cycle before had this issue once with a pioneer radio like you said when you turn the car off then back on it works
DRCinc Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 easiest way to figure it out is put a dmm on the remote wire and see if you have any power, from there if you have power then its an amp issue and if no power then youll have to go to the radio and check voltages
