scooter99 Posted May 29, 2013 Author Report Posted May 29, 2013 Thanks. I have some new plans on finishing. Going to really make these pieces pop I think, if I can do it right! I'm going to see if I can get these pieces finished up before I go any further with anything else. My plan is to finish the amp rack, finish the enclosure, get it ready to put in anyway, and then I'll move on to the battery racks. Things will continue soon. scooter99 Posted May 31, 2013 Author Report Posted May 31, 2013 Well guys, this is an update that's not very fun. I probably entered the unemployment world today. Lots up in the air, but in the end it'll be for the best. Details won't be given, but if this does happen, then tomorrow will be my last day. After that I'll be job searching, and between that and building my room or finishing it anyway, I'll be working hard on the build. Luckily I have all my equipment, and I have a lot of materials, but not all. SO that may hold some stuff up. But I will have more information in the next day or so. scooter99 Posted May 31, 2013 Author Report Posted May 31, 2013 Thanks Kyle, I appreciate it man! As of right now I'm staying put but looking for different work. It's one of two options, which option 1 is very tempting but the horrible system that is California makes you jump through hoops to get unemployment. So if I can keep a steady paycheck, and deal with the crap, then I'll do that until I get another job. That's where I"m at right now. I've got feelers out for employment, I need to look for construction work here in the Sacramento area, and I take my typing certificate test on Monday, only cause my other one was 5 years ago and the state wants 4 years or less. Not worried, I had a speed of 59 wpm then, and I'm guessing I'm at about 75-80 wpm now. But I'd much rather work in the construction field if I can get back in it. So, hopefully in the next few days things will calm down a bit, and I can get back to work on the car. Sorry it's been delayed, but when life happens, you just have to take it in stride!
