Got the box all put together now, pretty proud of it. Sub fits though, now to wait for the caulk to dry and de-fume. Anyone know how long I should wait before I put the sub in the box? Hellbilly429 Posted December 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2012 All in now, think I need a new amp cause I really don't believe it is pushing it's rated 600 watts to that sub honestly, stupid walmart pioneer amp... lol. It keeps clipping out and distorting when I really get this thing dancing, but man is it ever taking the abuse. I have it set at a much more appropriate setting for the break in period right now, but this sub in this box in my car loves lower hz than my old subs, and hits them with authority. I will have to see what range it is peaking at, but it like the basstronics cd and the bass I love you song and the bass will destroy you. I got a lot more work to go by far, but now I know what a real sub sounds like and for now I will do what I can to get the most out of it, but am officially hooked on the quality of sundown and will have to get a bigger badder sub next. Uploading a vid from my phone now, it was dark but you get the hint.
