OrionStang
Since the 360.3 is between my h/u and amplifiers, are there any settings I need to adjust on it, before setting the gains on my amps with the DD-1? CJ18
Using a 0db tone, there was no need for the dd1 for me when I installed my 360.3. You just leave your gain all the way down and the 360.3 sets itself as one of the steps when you set it up. I tested it just to be sure, and with the 0db track on my 4 channels, if I touched the gain at all, it distorted. The 360.3 matched itself with the gain setting on the amps so that there was no adjustment needed at 0db. Now if you tune with -5 or -10 tracks, just make sure the crossovers on the 360.3 are on all pass and then proceed to set the amps like you would usually do. OrionStang
So leave the amps x'overs off/through, and gain all the way down? Even after setting up the 360? If I wanted to use -5 or -10, leave the 360.3 on 'all pass', set the amp gains, then go back and set the 360? CJ18
Yes when you go to setup the 360.3, make sure all of the gains and bass boost on every amp the 360 is controlling are all the way down. The 360.3 will match its output to these gain levels. Now if you want to use a -5 or -10 db tone on the amps, set all x overs to all pass and tune as usual. OrionStang
Got it. There's no reason to even use -5 or -10. I was thinking too hard about it. Thanks. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
