Just received my 18" Fi SP4 D2 here in Australia

Today I've just received my 18" Fi SP4 subwoofer. Paid over $250 for shipping to get one here in Australia.

Currently I'm running it from a 3000w Pro Audio amplifier on one channel due to the 2.8 Ohm Impedance.

I'm hoping to get my DD M4a tomorrow so I can give it the power it wants.

Just wondering anybody else in Australia imported Fi subwoofers into Australia?

I believe I'm probably only person in Australia to have one here.

Oneday we searche a shipping oportunity to australia and the cheapest we found was 700 $ for a SMD-sub.

Would be intresting how gives this nice shippingquote, if i want to ship from Germany to Australia is cheapest option 153 AU$ (insured 100 €) and insured

till 500 € the double!

Sorry mate not entirely sure what your asking here. I had the sub carried by a mail forwarding company which was actually cheaper than having it shipped directly from Fi.

I used a site called Shipito.com it gives much better rates than most other sites.
