Couple Quick Questions

About to go out and run some new Audiotechnix power and ground wires. Got a couple questions. I know what im going to do, but lets here opinions.

1. The 360.3 power/ground wires are only 16awg and will have a 5A fuse? Since its so small, can I just jump the power wire off one of my fuses for the amps, instead of running a hot all the way to the front of the car?

2. Using 8awg for my 125.2. would you use 40A or 60A fuses inline? The amp itself has 60 amps of fusing. It will be ran at 4 ohms, so ~250watts.

Where is the 8awg coming off of? I would just fuse the 8awg to 60, I don't see a reason to go any higher than what the amp is. You would gain nothing by doing so, if you fused it at the amp's fusing, you would gain a second barrier between the power source and the amp.
