TerryBallou-Crawford
Title says it all. I'm looking at two very reputable subs. One has a cast basket, the other pressed. Does it matter? The higher end subs of both brands each have cast baskets which seems to imply something. My uncle is big into pro audio and looks for cast in quality equipment. Opinions? 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 Hertz HSK 165.3 JL Audio Slash 300/4 Fi BL15 Fully Loaded D2 Memphis 16-MCD1000
Chris Hammer
Just going based off basket alone I would get Cast. I think they look better and theres a reason highend subs (with heavier mags and more force to withstand) use them MY BUILD *****http://tinyurl.com/gmcbuild***** Vehicles 2005 GMC Canyon CB1000r - Currently where any future funds are going. n8ball2013
basket wont matter nearly as much as other factors. stamped baskets are cheaper and tend to me used on lower end models imo THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger.
