Dampening questions?

so i currently have peel and seal on my trunk, but at this point it aint doing shit.

im planning on getting some damplifier pro but not sure what to do when i get it.

should i just apply it over the peal and seal,

would stripping it off, applying the damplifier pro and then more peel and seal over it have better results?

or should i just stick the damplifier pro over the peel and seal?

Since peel and seal isn't really doing anything and that it has a tendency to fail, I would remove all peel and seal from the trunk and do only the damp pro.

I made the same mistake and put some peel and seal in my car. Currently removing it all little by little with a heat gun and some tar remover, believe it's by Stoner. It's a pita to remove the peel and seal but gradually replacing it all with damplifier. Also you would want to remove it not only for the proper adhesion for the damplifier pro but also the reduction in weight because peel and seal weighs a ton.

Remove the peel n seal... It can give off a bad odor in your vehicle. Go to a Home Depot/Lowes (or what ever hardware store you go to) and ask them what product(s) they would recommend to remove it. Stoners ^ does make a tar remover.

Remove roofing product, insert Damplifier.

Remove that shit!!! Lol if you add then I think it will cause more harm, meaning you prob won't gain anything..I did the same thing but added fatmat and didn't see a difference
