Swordlordboy1234
Also depends on power. My box was built by robin from BassHeadsEnt, and elflako17 can contest to how loud my car gets. I would love to know the specs on your box dude. I saw a pic of it and I'm really curious to know what you're tuned to with such a monstrous port. That thing looks like its 5-6 inches wide. What in the world are you tuned to and how much port area per foot is that box built to?!?! Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Swordlordboy1234
I'd have to ask robin at BHE the port actually isn't that big.... It's kerfed.... If I had to guess its 3 inches wide the height of the box, but the kerf on the outside makes it look huge. Also ninja fact, its kerfed on both sides of the port.... So it's as space efficient as a slot port, but similar to an aero port in how efficient it is... Sounds fucking awesome too. 37hz - 32 hz? Forget about it.. It HURTS.... 25-30hz, STILL pounds hard and shakes my whole dash... 38-45hz sounds clean and loud My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail.... CleanSierra
Joan(elflako) said it was BRUTAL! I see now that it was kerfed. He tried explaining but he didnt quite get the Kerf across, I love him though. He said he showed you pics of the box I've built him. I'm hoping he's happy with it, the port area should be just fine for how low it's tuned. It's only in the 12.25 square inches per foot range. I've always felt the lower the tune the less port you needed to get loud. He's gonna run 2 1700 Hifonics too, so the Skars should literally destroy his car. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Who do you think talked him into 2 1700s at 2 ohms for my VVX 12's he is buying? .... Lol glad he enjoyed it. Today Kevin from skar is bringing me my ZVX 12's and we will see just how brutal it can actually get. Get a hold of him Friday when I'm supposed to sell him those subs and Ill give him a second demo. Hopefully this time in the day so he gets better videos My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail.... CleanSierra
I have YOUUUU to blame for filling his head with these crazy ideas. It's okay, the box is small enough internally to handle the power. I'm thinking I should throw a few lengths of all thread for him though. Maybe two on the front baffle, 1 high, 1 low, and one the width of the box behind the subs? What do you think of this? Also, OP, sorry to thread jack Im not the one you want to try to troll.
