Hi guys, been shopping online and found 10" RE audio Rfx subs for sale at a pretty decent price. Not very familiar with the brand re, heard good things though. Just wondering if i should give a pair of these subs a try. Anyone ever come in contact with them? Thanks in advance.

They are basically a step up from their basement entry line. I wouldn't probably go that route, as their are entry level subs built by Skar, Sundown, and others. They won't handle much power and won't have a ton of output. What are you looking to put them in?

Best bet is to shop around

Online prices arnt always the cheapest price

They are a good reference or guide through

But a cs said

They are entry level and for the same price there are some less known brands that will exceed them for the same price

How much you looking to speed and how much space do u have

U can look at

Skar

Sundown

FI

Oa

Dc

The list goes on

pretty much any listed brand on here is a good start

I know somewhere else you asked about possibly 4 8s being a possible idea right? Just for some additional info, could you tell us dimensions of your current box and what you reasonably are willing to give up for leg space. 4 8s are less than the cone area of 2 12s just so you know. 2 10s ported from 33-38 in that truck is my suggestion. Fire at B-pillar with round PVC or aero ports.

ya i seen it was less cone area and i already moved the seat as far forward as i can for driving the max dimensions for that are 50 width 19 high 4in top depth 8.5 bottom depth i will start looking into tens i knew it was less cone area just dazed by the whole 4 8s thing sounding cool (no hatin) thanks for the suggestion man im looking into tens now and when i put those dimensions in torres i get 2.68 gross and with 2 4" ports 18 in long its 25 sq in of port and the net is 2.38 (using.5 mdf) for three 10s that sound ok?

Your got 2.2gross if box is 50x19x(4/8)

Even 2x 10" ported wont happen

And with a shallow m/depth the sa8 are off the list

Idd say 1 ported 10

Or 2 to 3 ported 8"

If wan to go sealed that different story

You could do 4x e10 in there on 15-2k

You also need to allow room for the sub to move and if thoes mesurments are hard up against the back of the seat you'll have to take even less off the depth then you looking at a smaller net an gross again

He's using .5" MDF(for low powered subs go for it). I think you can get away with 3 3" ports at 18" long, 2 sundown E10s, tune of 34.41Hz, internal volume if 2.21 after displacements. That is plenty for those subs. Pre drill every hole perfectly, to avoid splitting, and seal the HELL out of the box with silicone and make sure you've glued all the joints well. I've got this estimate assuming its firing at the B-pillar. You must have 3" of clearance from the port to the nearest obstruction.
