ok im thinking about trying to make my 6X9 ports soon bc my dad will be able to help me... he is in construction so hes got all the tools and such would need... anyway my idea is to get a 9" pvc pipe and with modification and some cutting/gluing i will make a 6X9 port.

Now heres my question is that purple glue stuff for pvc going to be able to hold this together well enough? Should i attempt to fiberglass the outside or something for more stregnth? also there is a good chance im not going to get this 100% perfect with so would ruff spots on the inside hurt my sound quality and or spl?

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer
