andym85
last year i did a 141.2 at the headrest iirc before my fuses popped, my score was still going up when that happened though...that was with two 4" aeros and peaked at 41hz...(i did a 143.8 at 33hz in the kick once also..not at a comp, but on a TL)... hopefully since i opened my port way up, raised my tuning, and worked on my fusing situation i can get into the mid 140s...upper 140s would be sweet..doubtful, but it would be awesome! andym85
ok…so after taking suggestions from a few people I decided to scrap the fuse setup that I did and go a different route….its a lot simpler with zero wires and distro blocks… some scrap copper I had laying around…(1/4”) then I took apart all of my fuse blocks the idea I was shooting for scratched in the position of the holes with a drill bit then hit it with a marker… about 35mintues, a few cuts, and one drill bit later this is what I had….i was 20holes thru it (out of 24) and my drill bit snapped…I let out a loud “son of a bitch” then went on about my business…lol… cut in half..which took me FOREVER b/c all I had was jigsaw to do this and when I had about an inch left im pretty sure I fucked the motor in the saw up, b/c all it does now is slip…this is why the middle of them is kinda jacked…oh well… Quote i likes me some audio stuff... andym85
now how to tighten the little fuses clips to the copper? A nut driver in a vice. then slide the bolts on it and tighten with a screwdriver this is part of a mini anl fuse block…it will be used to accept the wire coming from the battery…(it can also be seen in the pic above) wire that’s gonna come from the amp… Quote i likes me some audio stuff...
