98 Lincoln navigator Air Problems

My navigator been really pissing me off with the air suspension I sent it to the dealership and they repaired the airlines then my compressor went out so I got a new one and new airbags now I installed it all doubled checked for leaks and nothing but my rear still isnt lifting at all It cant be the compressor cause Its on and its sending out air but nothing is happening can someone please tell me what else is wrong

check the ride height sensor. Is the air ride light on? Check all the couplers for leaks paying close attention to the line below your master cylinder.

My personal opinion on the Lincoln air ride, change out the air bags for regular coil springs. strutmasters.com should have everything you need to do it. The air ride system will continually fail, coil springs are pretty much good for the life of the car. Both systems that I've replaced have had a bypass for the light on the dash too.

Edit:

The ride probably won't be that much different either. In the long run, it's more cost efficient to just change to coils than it is to keep dropping money into the air ride system.

Check your rear ride height sensor.(wire brush and parts cleaner) After that I would check the solenoids in the SCM (suspension control module) If they are stuck open the pump will run but the air just dumps out.

Rev. Wraith is also correct If you want to save your self the hassle and expense of going through this again down the road then cruise on over to strut masters.

It sounds like the ride height sensors are the problem. However there are relays and fuses you'll need to check. And if you had a shop replace the bags, make sure they replaced them with the right bags. If you get under the truck and the bags are completely inflated and the truck is still sitting on its ass, then obviously you have a problem. Also if you can, check to make sure air is getting to the bags. Take one of the air lines off at the bag and make sure air is making its way to the end of the line.
